To easily transform any photo into Wristbands follow these steps.

Follow these easy steps to make your own wristband.

select photo

1.  First select a good quality picture (at least 300 dpi in a 9.5 x 5.7" size)  The wristband quality will depend on the quality of your original photograph.

You can choose a picture that you have taken yourself, or go to dreamstime.com to purchase a royalty free image.  (Many FREE images available, too!)

2.  Open your picture in a good photo editing software like Adobe Photoshop®.  If you work on a page layout or design program (like Adobe Illustrator®) click here for suggestions.

If you don't have Photoshop, you can go to Pixlr, a free online photo editing software.

When clicking on the Pixlr link, a new tab will open.

change cavas size Canvas Size: 10.25 x 1.125"

3.  Change the Canvas Size...  to 10.25" x 1.125"  (DO NOT CROP)  If in Pixlr, set the canvas size to 3075  x 338 pixels.

You can then resize the photo and move it around to fit the area.  You will surely find empty spaces to the sides.  You can duplicate the layer and cover the empty spaces.

4.  Make a rectangle at least 1.5" wide by 1.125" high  (450 x 338 pixels) on the left hand corner, and fill it with any color you like.  This is the area were we will place the serial number or barcode if you need it. We will also place the tamper evident cuts.

Note:  when wearing a wristband, at least 1 inch of the right side will be overlapped!

add text or logo

5.  Add text and logos.  You can add special effects by toggling with the layer transparency and adding a drop shadow to the text layer.

Once you are finished, save your work with all the layers.

You can change the color of the layers for different groups or packages.  Change your text accordingly.
